End-of-Life Care

Our end-of-life care manages symptoms that includes pain relief, breathing problems, skin irritation digestive problems, temperature sensitivity and fatigue.

Comfort care is a therapeutic approach appropriate for all types of serious chronic illnesses, the aim of which is to prevent or manage the suffering and illness burden experienced by the resident and family from the time of a terminal diagnosis forward. Specialized comfort care improves resident and family distress, enhances satisfaction with healthcare, improves goal-setting communication, and lowers healthcare utilization.

What services does comfort care provide?
All services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at no cost to the resident or family member.

  • All medications, medical equipment, and supplies related to care are covered
  • Medication management to control pain and symptoms
  • Certified physician services to manage medications
  • Dedicated nursing staff
  • Music therapy
  • Aroma therapy
  • Spiritual support for resident and family members
